Thanks Bud, most appreciated. I have the side markers sorted, but I'm still toying with what I'm going to do with the front markers. I still want to do something different from the norm. I have a cheapie dremel style engraver. Hopefully it will fit in the Dremel routing kit available from the green shed. That will give me some more flexibility in putting my ideas to work!
Wow, S*** just started getting real!!
Birthday money is in my hot lil hands!! Time to start purchasing some more bits and pieces.
So, just a refresher, here is what I have already.
1 Only - Acoustic Piezo/mic blend pick up
1 Only - Acoustic Guitar Bridge "kit" that will only have certain parts used
12 Only - Black String Thru Ferrules
5 Only - Black Plastic Bridges - These were only $1.00 delivered, and come in a set of 5 anyway!
1 Only - Top secret idea that will more than likely be a failure, and won't be used!
Next on the agenda:
1 Only - LP Style Bolt-on Neck from PBG
1 Only - Black Neck Mounting Plate, or Black Set of Neck Ferrules and Screws from PBG or Ebay
1 Only - 3-a-side black tuning machines from PBG
1 Only - Timber Slab from the BGS
1 Only - Set of Acoustic Steel Strings
2 Only - 2mm thick Timber laminates for headstock
Plans are moving forward!!

Having said that, I could get the binding done in black and no fret markers either, so I would basically have a blank canvas, which would be ideal.
Unfortunately he doesn't have any basic black tuners in stock, but does have some alternatives coming in sometime this month.
Some thinking to do!
Zandy have a look on ebay for a neck maybe. Otherwise compare the price of a PBG custom one and a DB built neck to your specs
