Hey Tony, I haven't had this issue with glue as yet, but i am sure it will one day. What was the method you used to fix the back, its exceptional! Was the veneer quite thick?

Another thing i did was there was a small hairline crack (other than the center seam) in the veneer about 1" long. I fill it with a very waterery solution of timbermate and left it over night, the fibres expanded and closed and sealed the crack perfectly.
I have finished the back, i went a bit darker on the last Red Mahogany dye coat, its still wet in the pic, but its popping nicely now its dry.
Too hot in the shed to do too much, so thats it for today, its beer o'clock.
Onto the front tomorrow, going lighter, might even try a burst or a deep cherry red, see how i feel in the morning.
