Thanks for the encouraging words gentlemen, they really do help spur you on, especially when you're doing something a little different.
OK - Neck aligned & fitted. Electrics all wired up & tested (with a tuning fork). Decided to leave the FR nut in place just for show!
Can't wait to string her up and do the usual intonation/tweaking then see how the "portamento" PUP sounds . . . .
BTW my SG-2 Summer Special turned up today thanks to lightning boy Phil. I have big big plans for it . . . .

Maxxy you always totally blow away the forum with your builds. Not in a million years would anyone guess this started off as a ST1 kit !
Can we please see a video of how the pickup moves along the slot ? wondering why the switch slot is so long must have something to do with it
