I just had a Monty Python moment then..
And now for something completely different.
@Paul. Yeah, cool guitar. And it's progressing nicely
@Gav. I too am looking forward to the next vid. I'd like to try a rattle can colour. Probably on a DC.
@Lawry - thanks dude. My last attempt at spraying colour resulted in quite a few frustrating do-overs so I have many fingers crossed that it wont happen this time in front of everyone ;).
cheers,
Gav.
Lol. That's what editing software is for. ;-)
hi guys,
Here is the fourth installment of my video build diary for anyone who is interested. This episode deals with the completion of sanding, masking and spraying the initial coats of primer.

Watch it if you dare.
cheers,
Gav.
Another excellent instructional video, Gav. These are going to be my 'go to' lessons when I do a spray build.
And man, are they bellbirds going off their nut in the background?
Thanks Lawry. Yeah the house is surrounded by the little buggers. It's nice to hear them again now that the cicadas have stopped :).
cheers,
Gav.
hi guys,
White gloss acrylic coats were finished today. I only have the binding to scrape and I'll be ready to give this a right old Pollocking.

Before that starts my son Eben and I are going to do another test run to make sure our technique is good. We've made a plywood mockup with this same shape and painted it with the primer and white gloss...
cheers,
Gav.
Surely you can't give this axe a Pollocking. It's not a Jackson. Hehehe
LOL. Ba Boom Tish. Nice one Lawry. :) :) :)
Cheers,
Gav.
