Best relic job I have ever seen!
love the Fat City chicken head knob...
Wrong thread, Stan ;)
haha, you are a bad man DB
Dont want to sound like I am poo pooing but I hate reliced Guitars, especially Fender ones....
I prefer naturally aged guitars but that one somehow actually appeals to me....
I really like some relicing jobs, but for me this is too much. Give me what looks like a 50s tele in much loved condition any day. A little too much grime here for my liking. Sorry Stan!!
cheers,
Gav.
How about this? I'm a sucker for vintage style. Maybe it's a candidate for ugly instead? I'd hang it in a second..
cheers,
Gav.
that is retro cool Gav

This just popped up on Electrical Guitar Company's FB feed. Hawt.
that quilt axe looks similar to Perry's shark axe without the hollow cuts on the top.
Wow that is something else. The axe above aint too shabby either
The quiltiest of them all
Yeah, very much like the Sharks!
Holy mackerel! I could stare at that quilt guitar forever! Simply gorgeous.

Unbelievable.
wow those Mayones are very nice. Wonder what sort of timber the cap is on the bottom pic
That first one looks mint! Like the mini humbucker's (if that's what they are).
Yeah that second top is like a kaleidoscope

No idea what this is, but I love it.
Luthier Nik Huber has the best one piece tops.

Not as high standard as some of the axes here, but I have definitely become interested in the ESP Stream series...
Let's just ignore that this thing either has 25 frets or the fret markers are screwed up, because OMFG...

All of the wants..
Okay, that's freak if awesome!
why don't you build a Ninentdo inspired JM-1 Pabs ? You can cut the pickguard to suit and sure you have an old controller you could use
I know it won't be everyone's cup of tea., but......

James Trussart Steel Deville in Titanic green. (Serial # 15106)
some beautiful axes there Fretty for sure
James Trussart's stuff is amazing
That Nintenaxe is amazing! I've seen the bass version of James' #15000 and a Tele version of his #13143, very damn cool axes!
Ok
Just ordered a body blank from these guys... I never knew - noob that I am that we have this level of building pros in Finland.
Just a few to post here but check out their site - just google Amfisound guitars. You'll find quite alot of inspiration there. Unbelievable stuff in their galleries...

I bought some strings yesterday and took 20 minutes to play this guitar, hanging on the wall with a $2000 price tag:

I'm surprised no one has thought to include this one, Joe Satriani's Ibanez Chrome Silver Surfer guitar:Attachment 6503
So many fingerprints....
Lol.
