It just involves reversing the hot and negative/ground connections of one pickup for that setting, usually on the neck pup. You can simply leave the cover unconnected to ground for a slightly brighter sound from the pickup if you don't fancy running another ground cable. Slightly noisier, but if you had fitted a Strat pickup in the neck, that wouldn't have any cover on it.

I think that the pick of the guitars is the TL51, so it's good to be finishing up with the best!
