It's a nice look for the style indeed for me it was just a thought though and won't progress beyond that. I checked out Guitar magazine but a subscription here is quite expensive. Australian guitar magazine is also similar in price.Quote:

After all the sanding i cleaned it up and decided to see what some colourless Dingotone would look like on the top
and here is the result after one coat.

It came up better than i expected so ill add a couple more coats and see how it comes up.
Im going to do the back of the body and neck with DT Bushfire Sunrise that i have left over from my previous build.
While i was at it today i also had a crack at re-shaping the headstock.

So im not quite finished with the headstock just yet it still needs a bit of fine tuning but its close to where i want it.

It's going to be a nice warm day in Melbourne today so i got out in the cave early and got going on some more stain coats. Not looking too bad although staining the back has revealed a few small glue spots around the binding that i missed which is a pain i thought I had taken care of them all. I'll post some more pictures once the body is more easily handled.
