cheers G-axe, the fretboard is way wider than the outer string spacings will be (about 55mm at bridge), the neck/fingerboard is just under 80mm wide. It doesn't matter how wide it is as it will be a slide only axe

got the project finished yesterday, assembled, wired and strung up. The pics were taken just before the first test run. Needs some setup but happy with the early sounds ! Tuned to drop A tune so the low E string is tuned to G - nice and low ! I've got baritone strings on gauge 0.014 to 0.068". I had to drill out the bridge string holes for the E and A strings they are so heavy. Even the G string is wound !
It's great to hear the difference with the 3 pickups sounds a fair variation in sound. I might even upgrade the pups from stock PBG ones to some hotter ones.
some more pics. The back can double up as a chopping board ! haha
I've put a temporary bone nut on. I've got a wider blank to slot the strings a bit wider. Once I've got it set up and some different open tunings I'll post a video.
Very cool indeed
Gorgeous Wokks, can't wait for a sound demo. What pickups are in it? PBG specials?
cheers,
Gav.
Looks great! Can't believe how quickly you've turned it out. Looks like an absolute beast, but I guess you're not slinging it off your shoulder. Love your countertop too.
Yeah... liking that!!
I do, however, take issue with the ".... it even has a wound 3rd!!"; I use, and have used a custom set of EBs with a wound G for absolute eons!! I hate the clanging sound of a plain G....
This turned out awesome Wokks, very nice job
Looks great man. sound demo Wokks?
