The best type of person to have all the weapons, really.

Not much happening atm. Floyd trem is basking in a tub of thinners to remove the black coating, because I had no paint stripper and I'm not taking a trip to the large green shed of incompetent employees to get some :P
Last time I was there "I can't seem to find the clear matt, there is satin and gloss, do you keep the matt somewhere else?"
Snort, giggle "Why would they make clear that wasn't glossy?"
He had a job...someone thought "I'll employ this guy" I'm not sure which one deserved the biggest flogging.
Sounds like a typical trip to the BGSFOS.....
a quick update. I've relic-ed the trem , basically sanded most of the black off then dropped in some hot salty water for a bit. The alloy bits I hit with a bit of brown paint. Weird thing is the body of the trem was just steel with paint over it (possibly powder coat but I don't think so, interesting spelling of Rose too :P ), but the trem arm had chrome under it, REAL chrome with copper under it!)
I've made the control knobs from vintage Winchester shotgun shells I think a 9mm will fit the switch knob
Did some more ageing on the body, gouged a few cracks into it and some more layers of wash.
Waiting for humbucker rings to arrive, age them, and construction can almost start :)

thanks guys.
I used em on my Diddly box as well (link in my signiture) but used new shiny ones, on this one I'm using some old ones that had been reloaded with black powder a few times. Black powder is pretty corrosive so they have a nice genuine patina to them. Picks next time
you make great out there , cool stuff mate, nice
ah yes, super simple and super cool, and special neck, sounds great
