Either rip apart an existing pickup or grab a few single core or humbucker kits from Stremac and you are away. Or simply jump on e-bay and grab some real cheapies from China and remove their wire and do your own. They only cost $1!
I anticipate making a video this weekend to show everyone how to make a pickup on the winder, so look out for that!
Didn't know about that Mob Gavin, now the exchange rate for the $ would approx 3 to 1 for the pound? and their delivery charges? Had found a mob called TemcCo. They are also on Ebay, the price for 42 gauge from them is $32 Aus, and $26 delivery.. the spool size is 1Lb (48841 ft or approx 17000m)
