That's true, I still need to apply maybe two more coats of DT CG final Coat, and then start wiring up the pickguard, then install the new ASN57 pickups, then do all the setup, etc, apply the headstock decal, before I can call it finished.

yeah Doc I mean final coats, good stuff, the build is getting a bit closer to making noise !
I think my new Nikon Digital Camera is capable of shooting videos, but the Sim card in it is a bit puny, so what I might do is see if I can buy a bigger sim card for it so I can shoot a demo video of the finished guitar and upload it to youtube so you guys can see as well as hear it, would be a cool thing to do, and as it just so happens I do have a youtube channel, and this would be a great excuse to upload a demo video, so stay tuned.
I reckon all finished guitars should have a sound clip at least.
Same here, and i have more goodies for my studio on the way.
I actually need to do some re-arranging of my bedroom studio because a mate gave me a new mattress for my bed that's a bit wider than the frame, so I need to move the computer desk to a more accessible position, I have also been thinking about getting a proper rackmount case for all my rackmount gear, another thing I need to do is make some breakout panels for my rackmount Audio Interfaces so I don't have to keep reaching round the back to plug things in.
Okay, so I've just finished applying the second-coat of DT CG Final Coat to the Strat body, and it's looking pretty good so far, here's a couple of pics so you can see what it's looking like now, I don't know but the colour might be subtly slightly darker than before:

makes me think of violet crumble/honeycomb.....mmmmmmmmmmmmmm sugar
Yeah, it's about that colour, isn't it?, I'm really happy with the results I've gotten so far, it's definitely going to look great once it's finished, next fortnight I'm going to buy a Strap for the Strat, and couple of Ernie Ball Strap Locks to replace the stock strap buttons, then the following fortnight I'm going to order a Gold SuperVee Bladerunner Strat Bridge to use as an upgrade for the stock bridge, should look pretty snazzy then, how's your build coming along Dedman?
