So, what would you guys reckon is the main common factor/criteria that would determine if a guitar is beautiful or not, I'm thinking that it has to be that the look of a guitar has to be easy on the eyes, as being the main factor/criteria, it also has to exude some cool-ness.

Doc, looks. That's it. This thread is for eye candy. That's subjective and all, we all have different tastes, so if you think it's beautiful, it qualifies.

Whatever guitar turns you on...

Yes, I guess it's a personal thing, what one guitar player would call beautiful, another one might call ugly.

Back to one of my favorite Luthiers, Mr. Mark Hatcher.
Heavily Bear Clawed figure Sitka Spruce top
Back, sides, center strip of the neck, and other touches are African Padauk. Mark refers to this timber as "Flaming Bacon!"
Binding on the body, neck and headstock is African Blackwood.
Bridge, Fretboard and custom made tuner buttons are from Macassar Ebony
25.5" scale length with 1 3/4" nut and 2 1/4" spacing at the saddle
The orchid inlays on the headstock and 12th fret are done in white mother of pearl and pink fresh water clam.
Enjoy!!
