The benefits of living on the Gold Coast... Sin City!
Hope you get it back to normal!
Okay forumites, own up....who did it to keep Deddy out of GOTM!?? I'm looking at the south east QLD crew.....
Edit: tongue is firmly in cheek BTW!
Bummer Deddy.
God help the grub if he ever comes sneaking back again.
I hate it when scumbags are touching what is yours.... But I know you'll fix her up!
wired yesterday, attached neck and bridge today. Sounds a bit nondescript really, but then I've been playing the DM1 with the hot Armstrong in it a fair bit. There are a few flaws in it (thats not a paint flaw on the top horn its a big greasy thumb print LOL) but it's done and it plays nicely. Will replace the strings and do intonation next weekend. I'm liking how it looks a bit like an old ESP or Teisco

Love that fish decal!
I wonder how you are going to make that decall. It sure looks amazing!
It's easy but not cheap Kick. I take the artwork to a sign maker who prints it in reverse onto clear material. I then apply it to the back of the clear pick guard so that you are looking through the pick guard to the sticker which now looks the right way around. Because you can't print white, the guard is still transparent so then a layer of white decal is put over the back of the first one....convoluted but it works.
I did these the same way

Smart thinking Dedman :)
That fish decal is gunna look great.
Nearly done, just needs a final polish. The pick guard had a sad accident, just after I'd applied the decals to the back I sat it on top of some stuff to dry, just then my workshop manager ( a magpie) decided to pay me a visit, landed on it and sent it tumbling down the back of the bench resulting in a deep scratch on the top above the bridge. needless to say she didn't get fed that day.
Anyway, trem cavity is filled on the top, back has a new custom cover, new hardtail bridge, pick up is a Kent Armstrong. Single volume control/push pull to split the pick up.
