Mmmmm, Mayones.

bit of inspiration for my strat. :)
Oh to be able to own a Mayones
Fender Montego II. Classy.
looks nice Pablo. Not sure why the back of the axe has nicer flame maple
Good spot wokka. I didn't notice that. How odd.
Maybe maple on the back, bolt on neck so a stiffer wood is needed for the body, and the top is softer so it reverberates. I dunno, just ignore me.
The awesome things Perry Ormsby is able to pump out never ceases to amaze me. This is all inlay, made from over 200 separate pieces. Wow.
Can't wait to see it sanded back.

Benedetto GA-35
Every time Ormsby and Co upload something it's immediate how to fudge did they do that with some tree.
Even more wow. I do not know how he does it...

may I play too?Attachment 770Attachment 771
^ ^ that Ormsby neck isn't glued yet either. That's his infamous neck pocket test.

I have one in desert crackle that is the second guitar I ever bought (traded my Squier strat on it!) and is still the best playing guitar I have ever played. Mine's a bit worse for wear though:

I owned all three of these over the years and wish I had all three of them back.
The Mockingbird was I believe a '77-78. I think the Kramer DMZ was a '78. I got rid of both of them because they were just too heavy to play on stage night after night and the Kramer was a pain in the ass in the winter. The Charvel I got in the 90's and it was stolen.

A bass but I think a beautiful guitar nonetheless John Birch custom made for Geezer Butler of Black Sabbath

a second submission another bass this one is made form 50,000 year old kauri
http://www.bestbassgear.com/ebass/ba...-old-wood.html
It's a nice bass, no doubting that. Just to be clear, the Kauri tree itself isn't 50,000 years old, it's more than likely reclaimed swamp Kauri.
Beautiful nonetheless.
yes my understanding was it's essentially wood that originated 50,000 years ago and has since been preserved probably as you said in a swamp
My buddy has a thing for Reverends. I don't blame him, they are stunning.

Wow that surf grren one is amazing. Would kill for it. Looks like a great idea for a scratchie!!

Fretsch Falconcaster looks good :p
Oh to dream!
I think you could build on of those Tony, modify an IB kit... You'd get something close
I've been following him for years Tony. His work just keeps getting better and better.
New Kiesel build..

I think I'm the only one who doesn't like the Vader. Never been into headless, or Carvin for that matter. Nice burl top though.
yeah can't say I'm a big fan of the shape and a headless but that burl top is super nice !
I'm on the fence with headless axes, I'd quite enjoy a headless LP (maybe even a bass for that matter, ring any bells DB?), but the Carvin headless axes are "okay" IMO
Never used to but it is growing on me :)
Back in the day a mate let me use his Steinberger headless bass (the cricket bat one), for a gig. It just felt wrong ALL night. Compared to my Jazz Bass it never felt comfortable. The balance was all wrong.
