Yep, chainsaws do have a nasty kickback in them when they hit something really hard which can scare the #$!% out of you.
Routers don't worry me any more, I've transferred my hatred to circular saws :-(
A few years back just after I got my first guitar I almost cut my left thumb off. Laying in casualty thinking the worst I focused on Django Reinhardt and my comeback.

Routers for me as far as ruining the work goes, circular saws for losing digits. I have managed twice now to cut through my circular saw cable while doing various jobs around the house, thank god for safety switches. At least now the cable is short enough it doesn't get in the way 👍

Nice! Headstocks often work better when attached to a neck.
As suspected, the neck pocket is a little lop sided:

The neck is also about 1mm bigger on the same side.
They're all ganging up on you! At least you now know and can do something about it.
