looking great Jeff, what's the next step ?
Considering sanding back the front and staining it the same as the back. I'll sleep on it!!
The more I look at it, the more I love the cedar stained back but not all that impressed by the front....Sanding has begun.

1st sand with 180 grit

Unfortunately, during that action, the body slipped off my lap and bounced on the concrete!!I did a sand back to see how deep the damage was... into the wood. 2 other points where it bounced were mainly on the binding.

Well, this is gonna take some time to fix!

I think we've all been there, I dropped the silent build on its headstock 2 nights ago. At the least it's proved my scarf joint is strong.
That should clean up okay once you've recoated though. Bummer that it happened. :(

I'll get another coat of Danish oil on today.
Any suggestions about inside the F hole cavity?? Leave it blonde or can we get some colour or black or.... ???
