Wow that would look pretty cool.. and it really makes the red pop. How would you do that? Painted on or with some type of decal?

I haven't thought that far ahead yet ... Haha! I may use some sort of artists pen/fineliner or something. Probably after I've done the intensifying coat. Then seal it all off and make it all shiny like. Well, thats how it goes down in my head ... Reality might be something very different. Besides, if I mess this one up, I'll just have to start another build ... :)

I did a bit more on the finish. I think I did enough to rescue it. The cutaway and underside doesn't look that bad now. Added a bit of orange to bring out the veneer a bit more. I really like the bright colour. I may not need to do the design on it anymore ... But it's still up for consideration ...

Instead of doing it in black - which would take away from your lovely grain - you could do it in a darker red / crimson or dark red/brown colour??
