Amazing job Pabs on the body shape and the binding. I'm following your build with mounting excitement. I want to emulate your binding success! What glue did you use to stick the binding? And is that just a normal razor blade you used as a scraper?

Cheers guys. Gav, straight acetone for the binding glue and, yep, just a simple utility blade as a scraper.
Hey Pabs, I missed this build and am only just catching up with it now. She looks great so far. Lovely piece of wood and workmanship to match.
This is going to be a stunner.
And thanks for the heads-up about Watts Timber. They have not shown up on any searches that I have done, and they are in the next suburb to me. Must check them out sometime.
It's amazing how that works with local searches, I had no idea that my local timber and building supplies place have a plethora of seasoned exotic woods, and it is literally across the park from me.Quote:
