@ Pabs about 6pm Friday this axe was a 70mm square length of pine. Spent quite a few hours on it over the weekend, glued it up Friday night. Sanding it flat was the killer as some pieces moved a bit while the glue was drying.
It was all KB's fault he posted the pic from FB on Wednesday haha
@ Tony I won't be staining it, it will just be clear coated leaving it natural.

You can get a guitar built from scratch in the same time as it takes me to research what guitar to make next. What you need now is a fanned fret job and it will really spin people out when they look at it.

Ah of course, the glorious west with low humidity and nice high temps. Sweaty Sydney does not allow such things. I am loathe to touch stuff laminated like that in anything less than 2 days, but i'm probably also being over cautious.Quote:
