Not sure yet Andy. I'll have to make sure the black would work with my planned theme. I may knock up some black paper rectangles for a visual test run

I'm using a traditional J bass shape for this. Next job to cut it out

So here's the rough cut of the headstock. First I used a coping saw the get closeish to the line. Then hit it with a rasp. Fine tuning next with sand paper.
