I might do another mini-tutorial on Capacitors over the Christmas holidays when I have some free time.
I just noticed, and you can see it in the phots that I have two classic blues pups and one Alnico 2 blues. This appears to be a supplier error......pending request for three classic blues pups.

nice score Andy and happy birthday mate. We will need a sound demo of the new amp looks great !
Heard some good things about those Blues Cube amps, hope you had a great birthday mate.
I just checked out a couple of youtube videos of the Blues Cube in action, I have to say that for a Solid State amp, it does a really good job at getting a great Tube Amp sound, is your Blues Cube the one with the Eric Johnson plug-in tone module Andy?
Thanks for the birthday wishes guys
You got it Doc. have to save up for the tone capsule and the EJ is top of my list.
I'd have to say the BC has its own sound, its got the warmth of a tube amp, but its not as expressive as tubes are, but its just a damn good amp. One thing the videos do not capture is the warmth and presence the thing has. its quite amazing, really outshines some smaller tube amps and when you add the different watt switch, the clean and crunch tone can be played together as well and add all of the other plusses a solid state amp has, I just can't go past it.
I've got a lot of learning to do but i'll put up a sound demo some time.
I checked out a youtube video that was demonstrating the difference in tone you get when you plug in the EJ tone module, I could definitely hear a difference, the amp sounded even nicer with the EJ tone module plugged in so I reckon it is worth getting it, I wouldn't mind getting one for myself.
