I have a Gotoh one like the pic I posted, its very tight, didn't move at all when I strung the guitar, I have a Chinese one on my Bo Diddly box and it pulled foreward a tiny bit but I do mean tiny.

I ordered the Duisenberg bridge. Keep your fingers crossed that it fits.... It's due here next Tuesday, so I'll update you when it comes in.
On to headstock shaping!
Great news! The tail showed up a day early from Germany, and fits perfect. Except for one of the studs which was smaller than the hole in the guitar. I was able to use a stock one, and screw the new post right into it. Almost like it was made that way. I'm glad that problem is solved.
Awesome work Mayhem. International high five!
The headstock decal came in today. It looks great. I'm pretty stoked to get this thing done. The clear coat is going on now, a few days and we'll be gluing the two together.
Attachment 14303 Here's a shot of the headstock with the decal.
Well. It looks like a guitar. Waiting for the glue to dry, then wet sanding the neck. The clear dried quicker than I thought it would, so I decided to let it dry more while the glue dries too.

a Trini 335 and a Ghostbusters kit....life is good!
Whoa, im a sucker for blue paint! looks great.....hey......... i thought it was a reverse headstock?
By reverse, do you mean the cut, or the paint? If you look close at the paint, it's a black face with a blue back. It's realllllllly close to the Grohl headstock. I cut the shape as close as I could. His has basically an upside down Firebird neck. So it's kind of reverse in that aspect.
