So neck now glued nicely in place. And now more tru oil... The way things are going I'll be wetsanding on Xmas day when everyone else passes out on the couch in the arvo.
It's hard to see the neck join in the light but nice and even with no gap. You can also see the red in the stain with the lighting

Beautiful. I was a bit sad the tv yellow didn't happen, but this more than makes up for it.
I know where your coming from Pabs. Next time.. spray paint for the yellow!

First round of wetsanding done (1500). Now for a few more rounds of tru oil then hit with 2000 grit.
Piccies with one more coat (now dry). Getting nice and shiny..
