looks very nice Moose, will be tough waiting the week to cure. Maybe look at wiring options ?
I'm shopping for pick-ups, wiring upgrades, and tuning machines at the moment. I'll spend the next week on the headstock, where I intend to do a bit of surgery (surprise).
I'm also trying to design a decal for the headstock, my initials perhaps.
I've spent 2 night scraping binding...not sure I'd want to do much more!
Sanding through the grits and polishing to begin on the weekend.

beautiful result Moose, very nice
Dead sexy.
beautiful result Moose, all that binding cleaning paid off !
that top is stunning
The weeks of shellac are over.
I have begun sanding the finish, using mineral oil instead of water, I worked through 800-1500-2000 grit, then moved to a polishing compound and swirl remover.
In the first pic you can see the difference between 800 on the left and 1500 on the right. The final 2 pictures are of the finished product, with 2 coats of wax.
