Another installment of my video build diary that's quickly becoming the cult hit of 2014. This week - shaping the headstock. Watch it if you are having trouble sleeping. Apparently, put a camera in front of me and the only adjective I can think of is 'trusty' 8O .

You are a natural mate!!
@Gav: thanks man - I've got a long way to go though before I'm a patch in you guys though!
Here is the headstock finished with the classic ricky 330 shark-fin. I've finally sanded out the burn marks left by my bench sander!

Another good video Gav. Some good information and nice safety gear. Might have to get DB to do a special video on sanding since he loves it so much.
Love the head stock shape looks good. Might improve the video if you can get some more close up footage. Otherwise as Gavmeister says you are a natural in front of the camera
@Wokka - thanks for the feedback dude. I thought exactly the same thing when I watched it - need close ups when working on stuff. Somethng to improve for the next installment!
cheers,
Gav.
looking great so far Gav
@Stan - thanks dude! The sanding is continuing...
cheers,
Gav.
hi guys,
Another installment of my video build diary for this Stone Roses Tribute build is up on YouTube. This week - raising the grain and pore filling. It's about as self-indugent as it gets 8O . I never really meant for these diary entries to turn into a 'tutorial', but it seems that's what happened. Oh well. I don't pretend to know what I am talking about, and for that reason I wasn't going to post this episode up here. But I've had a few positive comments and decided someone out there might find it interesting. Let the flaming begin!! ;)

the most important question is how do you get away with doing this on the kitchen bench?
