Thanks Waz :)
Making some good progress so far this week.
I'm not overly busy with work so i decided to start the polishing process.
A quick block with 800 wet & dry, Then 1500 wet & dry followed by 3000 (on a machine where possible) I followed these steps every where except the back of the neck - I sanded through the micro mesh grades up to 12000 but didn't use any cutting compound, Came out extremely smooth but less 'sticky' than the body finish. I used 3M Fast cut extreme compound and then used HD 3d 405 as the final glaze/swirl remover.
(This was before i sanded the back of the neck)

Looks like you might work at at Panel Beating or Spray Painting workshop?
Body came up very shiny, can't quite tell with angle of photos for the neck.
Copper shielding in the pick up cavity. At this stage i started saying to myself "don't forget the earth wire, don't forget the earth wire"

Pick up and studs for the bridge installed. First one went in perfect (didn't for get the earth wire  ) but i managed to split the finish slightly around the second one. I was planning the do the freezer trick but the first one went in so nicely i decided not to. I've already touched up the area so not really that big of a deal in the end.

Always been a fan of the Penrose Triangle and that style of art, Figured i might as well have a go at airbrushing one on my truss rod cover

That makes it a lot easier to finish off.
Wow great job! Amazing airbrushing that small too. Now I'm worried someone will open that door...
Thanks mate, Don't worry... The door can only be opened from that side ;)
Got most of the wiring done today. Just need to install the treble bleed and test it all. Would have tested it today but of course i forgot to take an amp to work. I also forgot to take a pic of the wiring lol

Hopefully the wiring is all sweet tomorrow and i can start on the frets/nut install. I'm starting to feel very close to the finish line and am starting to think which kit next ;)
