Hey Waz, the kit didn’t come with a knob or screws for the selector switch but I didn’t use the kits switch anyway, the chrome screws I used and the white knob came with the replacement switch I picked up from the Guitar World. I will have to find them somewhere else.

Hi Wayne, plenty on ebay or they can be found at most guitar stores and also Real Parts but the additional freight might rule them out.

Thanks Waz, I’ll make another trip down to the local guitar shop tomorrow,if he doesn’t have them, he could possibly order them in as he has a workshop and a big parts supply at the back of the store.

Spent a couple of hours on the wiring this afternoon, soldering is not my favourite part, but I got it done. I gave it a bit of a test with the amp but I can’t really tell if it’s right till my hearing is right. Then I added the back cover plates.

I’m just waiting on my logo decal paper to arrive so I can print the headstock logo,once that’s done, I can give the headstock a coat of clear then install the machine heads and the strings . Ooo ,can’t wait to give it a try.

This guitar is looking really nice!

I picked up the black screws and knob for the selector switch, bloody hell, it cost me an arm and a leg, well 2 bucks anyway.
It really finishes off the look of the guitar .

Looks really, really good

I had a similar switch issues with the orphan problem child IB -1 I got from Tony. I ended up filling the switch slot with a rose wood blank from the end of the fretboard and mounting an on/on/on miniswitch.
