Loving your work Daryl! I think you are right about softening a couple of those contours, but other than that, its a fantastic looking build already. I can't wait to see that wood figure on a finished body!

brilliant work Dazza, so are you going to shape the neck heel to match the curved pocket ?
I don't know. Haven't decided yet. It doesn't feel uncomfortable. I like the chunkiness of the instrument so far. Much more meaty than the LP kit

Aesthetically it would look much better with the same curve on the heel Dazza and trust me it will feel better and make playing high notes much more comfortable.
I fear that a pickup ring will now overhang the carve on the bridge pickup, especially on that bottom edge. I'd check and see what you think. It might be best to direct mount the pickups to the body and forego the rings.Quote:
