sorry IRL for the thread jack !

So after the Sydney heat last week, I started doing some shaping and sanding on the weekend.
Some of you were wondering about the type of wood....well...I found this:

Whoever had 'PINE' in the sweep is the winner.
that's what you thought the timber was pine hey IRL. So are you sanding off all the existing paint ?
Tossing up about that Wokka. Looks like it has a poly coat on it. I'm thinking that if I scuff it up just enough then the new primer and colour will stick ok? What do you think?
I'm not too worried about sound quality as it's only pine, my daughter is only learning and it has a nice flat surface on there already.
Try using Pine-O-Clean . . .
Just a thought he he.
haha Max is on a roll, good one buddy !
As Agent 99 would say..... "Oh Max!!"
IRL think the primer will work better on bare timber so back to sanding buddy !
Yeah, probably right Wokka....was just hoping the timber hadn't heard and would come to the party.
oh well.....Left hand sand off, right hand sand off.
you could try spraying some primer but it will probably react or won't stick to the existing paint even when roughed up.
