Ok Sanding sealer applied very happy will shallac the body and see what happens keep it simple plain wood here we go 1st coats

What this one lacks in spalting it makes up for in flaming. Nice.
yea man even the crappy basswood has some cool flaming action going on there around the top edge too, I can tell ya the shallac is strange to work with, Its a first for me very sticky stuff indeed!

on my build the distance from the 12 fret (Middle of the Fret) to beginning of bridge plate is 42.5 cm and I have internation tuning in all directions on all the saddles with space to move as well so great spot, got there after moving the bridge 4mm forward from my 1st prediction, the 3rd string saddle bound up against its spring and hadnt reached its tuning point yet
internationis 100% correct and action is about as good as its gonna get,will play it in and see how it settles

its finnished now well apart from a preamp install when it gets here,dont want to spend too much time on it have sooo many other things to do must crack on!
it plays it behaves lets see how it endures
