was a fun night at the Perth roadshow, as said before was very weighted toward the strat's 60th year anniversary but the Greg Koch band were pretty tight and had a good sound. Here's a sample of some of the axes on display. Greg's favourite axe was the 1st pic the relic'd 1956 re-issue. Some cool ideas they had such as USB port on some models to record or plug into ipod or ipads, and talk of a card that can be replaced that changes the wiring configuration instead of physically changing the wiring.
Some very nice custom guitars and basses.
I took some gopro footage of the band so I'll find the best video and upload it to youtube and share the link in the next day or 2
Also caught up with MetalMatt and BassGuy.

here's a video of a cover Hendrix played called Killing Floor, sorry the sound is a bit overpowered by the bass and drums

Yep great night and great to catch up with the guys. Some really nice stuff on show and ALL of it sounded sweet. One of my goals in this 60th Anniversary year is to purchase my first (real ;) ) sunburst American Fender Stratocaster, and last night just made me want one more!
