The trick is to be organised, have template ready- (I already had Tele template made up. Saved me about three hours), have a clear picture in your mind of finish etc, hardware ready to go and no interruptions.
The body has two coats of colourless and three coats of top coat.
The neck was already finished, waiting for the right Guitar body, this saved at least four days on the build.

Fantastic job DB. I hope some pays you lots of money for it, so you can more more of these things of beauty!
-
DB, I'm not normally a fan of gold hardware (but always a fan of Aussie hardwoods) but this guitar is simply stunning. How does she sound?
-
Well Todd, Adam had a play of her yesterday and she sounded pretty nice... Adam had "that" look on his face when he was playing her so I reckon that means He liked what he heard..
Maybe Adam will post his thoughts ?

I did indeed have a play and it is one of the most gorgeous guitars I've ever played. I feel privileged to have witnessed DB progress from "dabbling" in guitar building to producing some of the most stunning guitars I've ever seen.
I don't mean to piss in his pocket, but, in the last year, I've seen, held and played a lot of guitars. The last few guitars DB has built; this Tele and the Baritone, are without a doubt the most beautiful and playable guitars I've ever played.

High praise indeed! Great to have you around DB!
-
DB, did you win the Lotto to be able to afford those magnificent comments from Adam? I am amazed they maintained their tone despite the length of chain attached to each!
-
Dunno - personally think Adam would walk through fire to get his hands on that Tele...
-
Gee... Thanks Adam, very high praise from a man who really knows his guitars... I am humbled by your kind words. Thank you.

Nice! I think we need a vid of that tele to hear her sing!
