I presume you are using strings you’ve bought yourself? Any strings packaged with the kit are of such low quality that they apart from being used for any initial lining up purposes, can be thrown straight in the bin.

What’s the action like? The higher the action, the more tension you put on the string to fret it and the further back the saddle has to go to compensate for the string being pulled sharp.
Yeah new strings, agree old ones in the bin!!
The action is ok but could come down a bit more, but I’ll have to file the nut down a bit more too as it’s still bit high hopefully after that it’ll come into place
The truss rod was very stiff and made a cracking noise when I was giving it some relief, I don’t think it was bad and overnight the neck relief came down a bit to a nice amount
Ok so I’ve had this set up for a while tinkering as much as possible trying to avoid fret levelling but I think it’s unavoidable. As soon as I get anywhere near a nice action it buzzes and the 14th and 15th fret on the higher 3 strings play the same note
I need some advice on what to get to fret level, not spending too much money as I only need it for this one guitar.
Also is there anything to look out for with a multi scale that’s different from a standard guitar?
Thanks in advance!
Finally finished this, had a bit of trouble with it and had to get some help with a fret i damaged. Had to get it replaced
it plays really well now, it has a push/pull cts pot (Just fits in) to split the coils
would have been nice if the routing of the pickups were a standard size for an easier swap, but its impossible without a router and some more serious work which i don't have the tools for
anyway. its a great guitar and fun to play :)

Looks really nice. Well done.
How are you getting on with the fanned frets?
thanks simon,
yeah not too bad, takes a bit to get used to, lots of looking at the fretboard whilst playing ;)
Looks great. Love the dark grain.
Looks great! I’m very confused with the fanned frets…
