Looking nice.. really nice job for a first build.. great job..
cheers, really liking the tru oil on the mahogany.
Looking good! I'm also curious about the number of coats since I'm also in the progress of applying Tung oil to the body and neck.
I'm up to 4 now, It does dry quickly. Just going to keep going.
4 coats of Tru Oil and the cavities shielded.

Looking good. Any news on the replacement pickup?
picked it about 10 days go, so all good.
Getting there. Fitting the controls and getting the nut down to size and we'll be good to go. Pretty happy, few errors, but live and learn.

Looking amazing man! Great job. If you need to borrow some fret files I've got some here in Holgate.
cheers,
Gav.
Cheers Gav, I cheated, I paid the extra and got DingoBass to do that before it was shipped. Thought that was probably one step too far at the moment.
Nice result, you should be happy with that!
That is such a sweet an clean execution mate, you should be very happy with that. Great Job!
Cheers Guys, appreciated. All comes together pretty quick at the end.
Beautiful! Good job done I say.
Looking great Rossc0!! Another spalted LP killing it in natural finish!
Still have to do the intonation, but basically Finished!
That was an adventure. So for the first time in one piece and all buttoned up, meet The Beast, (bonus points if you can guess whos 59 Les Paul it named after, if there are more than one, the points only count if you're thinking about the same person as me :-) )

That's a real nice even looking spalt... and the colour of the back as really come though nicely... Your build is giving me wicked ideas for my up coming RCM-4F build...
it is certainly a stunning looker and with that hardware I am really jealous!
but who is it named after?
Rossc0 what a great build mate. looks good with that Babicz bridge too. I bet it plays like a dream.
Cheers Andy. Still need to get the intonation and action set right so will be playing with the bridge at the weekend. Just need to figure out how all the adjustments work.
Let us know how that bridge works out Rossc0, i had one in mind for another of my guitars.
Working on the set up now. Straight out the box so to speak, intonation on D, A, E spot on. I'll take that as a win.
Sounds good :)
"So long and thanks for all the fish"
Back soon for round 2. TL1 - Custom.
