Looks cool man. What's the pickup in the neck? (sorry if you've mentioned already)
it's a GFS Retro-tron, supposedly this one is voiced like a Rickenbacker (jangly) I guess I'll find out tomorrow when i wired it up :D
Looks delicious! What's the plan with pot and cap values being a single and bucker combo?
Cap is a .022 and pot is a 500K push pull so I can split the bucker. I'll see how that goes. I have another guitar with a bucker in the bridge and a single in the neck and used a .047 and 500k and that sounds fine to my ear.
Looking niiiiice. Let's hope it all works first time when plugged in.
Looks fantastic!
Thanks to this and BG's Sexual Chocolate I really want to build something with a Bigsby now. :(
Wired, strung with chinese strings but sounding rather nice. Much work to do on set up, a few buzzes. Yes Simon, wiring worked first go, which was amazing as I hadn't done a split humbucker with a tele switch and a push pull and didn't have a wiring diagram. but it works!
Frankie, I have 2 guitars with genuine Bigsbys, one with a Chinsby and I have to say the Duesenburg version leaves them for dead. So smooth, nice soft spring and you can adjust the arm in so many planes. I have a hollow body PRS style on order, it will be getting a Les Trem.
options..
