I had the same problem with my IB-1S ,I couldn’t find it anywhere, so I decided to imitate the look on the headstock with some stains and a texta pen,but my spalted top has less grain lines in it and it was quite easy.

Theres no bondi in my blue, just did the first stain coat and i might as well put clear on theres not a bit of blue come out Attachment 25296rag is blue Attachment 25297guitar is not blue. 1st guitar after 1 stain coat no ebony timbermate Attachment 25298
2nd guitar afterv1 stain coat over ebony timbermate Attachment 25299. Its like theres not enough pigment in the stain or the bottles have been labled wrong
Ive wiped the stain off with turps and tried the other bottle there is alittle bit of blue but it is the intensifier its not staining the wood blue.Attachment 25307
hi barnsey, stain does look light on? but the pinstipes look killer...
most paints and stains will settle out, with solids and pigments sinking, when shaken everything re-incorpates happily, but, with age the mix can reach a point where the solids no longer incorperate. is the stain very old?
