No problem at all. But I have biils in the house and then Xmas. I may sneak the kit into the house around Xmas. I expect a finished build in April 2017.
So it shall be a time. :)

Sounds good ozzbike.
Which part of the Sunny Coast are you situated?
I am at Buderim...on the Southern side of the hill looking towards Chancellor Park.
Glad you made that clarification as Buderim covers a huge area.
Off Ballinger Road in a rental unit.....sort of three storeys straight up.....I use a spare bedroom as a workshop....do my sanding painting etc outside in a tiny courtyard.
The lounge room with 8 of the basses and guitars on show....can tell the single bloke huh. Another 9 around the place in different states of repair.
:)
This would be the one I'd have a crack at so watching with an unseemly amount of interest...
Wow, is that 17 Basses all up?
Love the Yammy. It looks similar to a fretless BB1000 I owned back mid 1980's. Awesome tone and equally awesome quality of finish for a Japanese axe when the rest of the world scorned anything not built in USA.
I was going to guess Ballinger Road as Dixon Road is a bit too much further east to be overlooking Chancellor Park. 3 storeys up would give you views and breezes. Any ocean glimpses or just staring at the south western landscape?
I live in Bellvista with no views other than lots of trees.
nice collection Ozz, glad you haven't got GAS haha
That is 17 Guitars all up.
1 autistic with steel strings. (That is how it sounds when I play it.)
7 Basses. 2 of which are Yamaha......one RBX270J in Red metallic.....one Tobacco Suburst Yamaha BB424X.
9 Electric that I have either built, resurrected, been given, or bought....1 x Artisit Guitars SSH strat copy (my first guitar ever) and 1 Yamaha Pacifica 112V in Old Violin burst.
I love Yamaha. I can buy a reasonable quality guitar at a good price and not have to replace stuff or do too much work to them.
I cannot afford nor justify the cost of the USA big two. BUt, I have my eyes on the Squier Classic Vibe range....wow how nice are they.
Sadly no ocean glimpses. My units butt up against a major power line that goes down the hill through rainforest sanctuary to Chancellor Park. Under the powerline is a mini forest full of birds, wildlife and possibly a little wild hoooooottttteeer.
Airport and helicopters for you....I feel your pain.
Mate, I have a limited musical life. I have had many and varied jobs over my life....53 now. At the end of a relationship in January 2014 I found Rocksmith.....and went from there. So 17 guitars have entered my life since Janaury 2014.
I found BASS to be better for my old unskilled fingers. I do play a BASS or two every day. I play scales and noodle around on the electrics.
Well and truly inflated here with GAS wokka.
Right now on my radar is the behemoth BG46....the five string ash body Ibanez copy....ash body Rickenbacker bass.....and a Jazz Bass of some style....I don't have one. I have 2 x P Basses, 1 x PB and Humbucker and three PB and J bridge Basses.
Fully aerated am I. :)
