Lookin great!
I'm going to make a dreadful mistake and show this to my mate who will undoubtably say, can you build me one
what a cool lap steel Bruce, you got me motivated to build one ! It could also double up as a chopping board !
where did you get the control plate with the angled switch slot ? You going just the single bridge pup and hence won't need a switch ?
Yep my wife says it's a pizza paddle :-)
The control panel came from www.tone-guard.com, I actually picked it up from my local guitar shop Jacks music in Lambtom.
The whole project started as a cheap way to use the parts I didn't use in my TL-1 project.
I was going to put two pickups in, but I've got the shits with it ATM and I'm just trying to get it to the finish line.
If I put a switch in it , I can have an 'off' position, I've got it on my Tele and I really like it.
I think I'll put light coloured wood strips in for the frets .... Maybe
I love Art Deco and I love this too . . .
It even has a vaguely Goth feel about it? A la a cathedral entrance?
Far too good for the kitchen my man.
agreed Max I wouldn't go near that axe with a chopping knife
Hey Bruce, you had me at Art Deco. It certainly has that feel, love it.
Showed it to my steel playing mate, I think made him happy in his pants :D
haha bit of a trouser fail hey DK haha
I showed pics to my 4D buddy Popeye and he wants to build one too.
Probably off to the timber yard Friday to get some light and dark timber and start building one !
