You nailed the 'rustic burst'. Just like a antique french oak wood chest slab made into a bass. Nice work.

Thanks for feedback! That's not a gap, its a little groove so you can get your fingernail under the backplate. its such tight fit. i just wanted to add a little quirky feature to it too.Quote:
