So my finish was coming along quite nicely, thin coats, of nitro, primer, lake placid blue, then started on the coats of lacquer looking good, no orange peel.......
then....
This morning I applied another thin coat not realising that it was a TAD humid.
Here's a pic of my cloudified body. :(
I am assuming i will need to sand that off before continuing??? any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Yeah dude, it rained most of last night and it's been hot today, not a good combo for paint. Way too humid.
What you've got there is a case of paint blush. There are a few solutions, but if you were planning on more clear coats, a light sand should do the trick.
Jarrod is the paint expert around here, he might have a better solution, maybe PM him.
Thanks Pab,
I reckon, we got smashed by the storm last night and to tell you the truth I totally forgot about the humidity!
I think i've got about 3 - 4 more clear coats to put on according to the Stew-mac guide. I'll PM Jarrod before i start sanding anyway. Do you think that 400 would be too heavy? I wont be starting till tomorrow
What part of Brissie are you in Andy?
I'm a southsider (Moorooka).
400 would be fine.
Westside, Bellbowrie. so when Ipswich gets smashed...so do we
Oh yeah, I heard Ipswich copped it. Was fairly mild around here. :)
Yeah my roof leaked because the gutter between the stratco and the tiled roof filled up with water
Pm Answered Andy. A small set back but Pabs is bang on the money. Nitro gells into it previous coat thus the new thinner agent in the laquer will cure you problem.

Hi Jarrod
So I sanded a bit angry, ("Sangry") and in parts it was taken down to the primer.
Should I just lay down one coat of colour again and wait the week instead of sealing? Should i keep sanding or steel wool. It looks a bit bad atm but thats what i get eh?
The humidity is about 68% today in Brissy so i will wait to tomorrow (predicted 58%).
Sorry i tried to PM but i cant upload photos into a PM from computer for some reason.
