Hi Lawry,
Yeah I spent most of last night listening to the tiles on the roof rattling their t!tts off, just waiting for the crash bang of the roof migrating to the neighbours yard. I was real happy to wake up this moring and no damage at all

ah yeah Stan. remind me to cut my finger nails before handling soft basswood guitars. a bit of sanding to be done on the back well, no! a lot of sanding as it has a coat of base coat, so I guess the whole back has to come off and the Depp colout re-dome.
I also had to re-glue a lot of the binding on my eagle 11 scratch build. I used airplane model glue to stick it and it was a bit to close to the coonara. and the binding just let go. At least re-glueing binding is not thatmentally taxing, just a bit of a physical work out to get it all taped up and held in place till the glue dries. I am giving that one 24 hours.
After that I have to go back and re-- wet and dry the back of Mellow Yellow. Hoping I don't break through agian.
ONce that is done it will be Kryllic time for two of these babies. Well after I build a better spray Hutch

Crikey... Just how long are your fingernails, Paul? 8O
Glad to hear that you're back on track. Still, doing lotsa sanding will cut down on the heating bills.

he he he, all is good. nails were only a couple of mm long. so I bit them off, before I actually found the nail clippers.
I think what happened is the Wubtone must have been a bit soft and I fumbled a bit when picking it up.
another coat of Gypsy Carmine Red Base going on tomorrow. and maybe a some wet and dry work on the "Yellow".
But only if this wind dies down, it's blowing like a blizzard out there. The workshop is cold and draughty at the best of times.
