Looks great Tony colour suits this model well. Look forward to a sound demo
Very close to completion now. Strung up and making noise.
Only decals, and the final setup of floyd, intonation etc to complete.
Gotta say these Entwistle Darkstars are Awesome. Even with an MXR Fullbore metal at max distortion and in drop A still well defined notes and good tone.

Looks awesome man. How is the set up on it?
That's fantastic, Tony. I'll definitely have to come around and check her out sometime cos I'm very keen to hear what these pups sound like.
Hi Nick only did preliminary setup on it last night and it was decent. Overnight the neck has pulled a bit and will have to relief a bit but it looks like it wont take much to get nice and low. not looking forward to intonating as always a pain in the butt on a floyd.
Very cool. Are u going to do any sound demoes?
Could someone help me out here, I have made this guitar also, and now stringing it up i have noticed a few problems:
the nut is actually off centre slightly and there is more space on the top string side than the bottom... I know string gauge should account for part of this, but this is like, much more than just string. Should i leave it along and just accept i'll have extra bending range on the high string, or?
also, for anyone who is putting their tuning down, using heavier gauge strings as i am, i would heavily advise buying extra springs in advance as i have 10-74s on my guitar, lopping the high E so that overall tuning will be 8 string tuning down half a step...
the other issue i have is that the constant buzzing of the guitar when i plug it in... this could well be my soldering job, please take this into consideration and comment if it needs it, or potentially the way the wires are placed in the body. does anyone else have a buzzing issue? if so, how did you overcome this?
Cheers
sorry for a huge chunk of stuff...
Hi Will Younger,
start a build thread and post some pics of the nut and the control cavity. Sounds like the nut has to be removed and re-glued or replaced into the correct position.
Does the guitar buzz all the time ? sounds like an earthing problem or the output jack you may have the hot and earth wire the wrong way around. Have you copper shielded the control cavity ?
