Opinions sought on hardware gear + fingerboard colour (pictured is supposed to be a yellow or amber stain, other option not pictured would be to bottom lefts bridge to black.

What wudtone stain do you reckon would get this fingerboard result? Vintage Yellow, right?
Thanks

Top left first choice, bottom right second choice. I think a couple of light coats of Aged Vintage Yellow will get the neck colour you want, depending on application. For example, this neck has one light coat of Aged Vintage Yellow on the fretboard and two coats on the neck/headstock, and then three clear top coats. It gave it the slightly smokey yellow tinged clear look that I wanted, rather than a traditional tele yellow.

I prefer top left and 2nd preference bottom left. Depends if you want to retain some chrome hardware.
The all black really compliments the dark burst.
Vintage amber will be more of a light brown rather than vintage yellow on the fingerboard so its up to you to decide

Definitely prefer the two on the left, but I will be the dissenter and say I prefer the bottom left.

bottom left and top left in that order

Aged Vintage yellow. 3 Coats on the back (sanded back), two on the front with less sanding, and one on the fretboard. Probably going to sand/steel wool it a bit. Maybe give it another coat to even it out.
Glue spot right on the fretboard. Not too sure how to handle that - How much can I sand the fretboard?. Not too sure if I should keep staining the neck darker to see if it will match more.
Over the night my head got scratched on the surface somehow (pretty deep). May sand it back, may leave it...
Some replacement electronics have been ordered (black control plate with no holes and some tone caps).
This time with the black plastic so people can help me choose before I commit to one colour.

looking great Ihasmario, black pups/surrounds look great and the neck is coming up a nice yellow.
To sand the fingerboard I've heard of people wrapping sandpaper around a rubber eraser, best paper to use is the sticky back paper available from Stewmac. You might need to try and remove that glue on the fingerboard with a small wire brush then sand it after and re-apply stain.
Are you going to draw eyes and lips on the headstock ? would look pretty cool !

Thanks for the info.
I don't really have any plans for any other 'permanent' cosmetic changes to the guitar after this is done besides obviously the drilling and the hardware. I'm very unhandy, can't draw and generally have a pretty bad eye for imagining/creating things (and how they will look).
Gonna go sand back the whole neck so it's lighter and then stain it again so it evens a bit.
I'm semi-contemplating getting a veneer for the rings and making them the necks colour, but I'm going to wait till I am further along before I consider that since the body looks fine how it is now, imho.
