...and we'd never get to spend so much time in the naughty corner for discussing forbidden topics like T.....oops, that was close!
TRUEOIL, NITRO, PAINTED FINISHES..... opps ,sory, tourettes
Come join AJ, Woks and myself in the corner Stan, we saved you a crayon.
haha yes Stan, naughty boy, think I've finished my stint in the naughty corner so I'm returning to the workshop to apply some wudtone. See I am reformed !
Wokka your not reformed I still see a list of truoil layers building up.
ANY WAYS I was asked for some close up pics of my inlay saw.
I have done some little cutting work and am happy with the results so am looking forward to some major inlay work.
The main part to my saw is a draw rail which I have attached the saw arms to. This gives it a nice smooth ride.
Attached to the top of the draw slide is a spring and at the base is a cable that runs down to my foot pedal.
All very basic construction and am sure there could be easier if not better ways to build one, but it works for me and it wasnt a great expense with most parts being scrounge from around the shed. Only down side is the spring noise, but if you crank up the tunes it dissapears.
