One suggestion though, it would be a good idea to colour the bridge rout out as you wont want white timber showing through! :)

Ah, I've got that planned.... I will colour it with the base coat. :D
As I said earlier, watching this with interest as I wait for my IB. Like what you've done with head stock, very nice!
Couldn't resist-the third and final coat of deep colour. Awaiting a vicious sand back.

Sanded back the deep colour mildly, and first application of base coat Hot Auburn. Gettin' sexy! :P

assume you will go for 2 or 3 base coats total before highlights ?
