Just found out that a new Fender Player series Telecaster neck bought on The stratosphere is going to cost me over Au$500.00 all up, so I'll have to leave the restoration project for next year, in the meantime I'll order some new tuners, a string-tree, and some new strings from Realtone Music just to get the guitar in a playable state, the guitar has some chrome Hipshot Griplocks on it which aren't really doing much to keep the guitar in tune other than breaking strings, so I'm going to try some vintage-style Klusons this time round.
