Since I do not want to disappoint again (remembering back to the Axe Bass) I'm going to say yes. Also some sweat and tears. Hopefully they all sand out!

Today I created a routing template for the control cavity recess for the cover and a template for the control cover out of 12 mm MDF. The recess template was made using 45 mm holes at the ends using a forstner drill bit, the rest was jigsawed, and then filed to shape . I then routed the recess into the body. Also made the cover using 3 ply pickguard material.
Nice work, Trevor!
I have now started to put sanding sealer on to the back and sides of the body and the neck. I will put down a few coats and then sand it back with 240 g. This is in preparation for some black paint from a spray can when it gets a bit warmer here.
Perth is starting to warm up. So today I gave the back of Mr Scary a couple of coats of black MTN94. Seems to have worked well.
So good to have spraying weather again finally. We’ve had a couple of false promises recently.
Added the logo and name today. Both vinyl stickers cut with the Cricut machine. I had a few issues with some of the smaller bones in the name as they did not want to stay on the backing when the main parts were weeded out.
Also added a few layers of clear of SCA acrylic. I will give it a gentle 600 grit sand tomorrow and add a few more layers of clear.
