Feast Watson Golden Teak for the yellow.....FW Maple for the orange.....FW Jarrah or Mahogany as the Red perhaps.

I think this is the problem I faced when I made a purchase out of the specials bin. It’s not as if I had an idea in mind and brought the kit to match. I brought the kit and had to come up with the idea of how it was going to turn out.

It is a problem....that back....hmmmm....maybe red...dont know about green.

But I do think a different colour between the binding on the edges. I like that effect.

I also will be repeating my kids paint brush with water based poly on the binding before applying any stains. It worked really well on my Telecaster and was easy to put clear over.

Maybe a Japan Brown on the back with an Elm colour on the sides. Both brown....the back would be a black/brown and the sides would then be a brown brown. I think Tru Oil all over to grab the figure and then finish with spray Polyurethane again. That stuff is so forgiving.

Nice idea....it also buries my mistakes too. But I think I need to unzip the fly on this one and let all the mistakes and grain hang out.

Well I'm glad someone is getting parts....the pups for Dora have been sitting at Frankfurt since the second week of Jan waiting for a flight :rolleyes: ! Yeh, it seem stuff is slowly making it here from the US and tricking in from the UK, but the rest of Europe has come to a stand still :( .

Have you tried the angelus leathers dyes? There is a guy in Deception Bay that sells them on ebay.
