Looking good Kick.
Follow what Dedman said and lightly sand every 2nd coat and it should not take too much longer to look smooth all over.
Dedman gives good advice once again.... it is liking better and better.. it just takes a long time to build up with tru oil, but it's gonna look killer when your done..
Little update; I'm working on the list of choirs and in between I am working on the Red Widow. I have applied lots of coats of True Oil and now I'm so far I can apply the last coats. I am diluting the TO with turpentine (50/50) and that gives it a nice glossy shine.
Next two days I'll be on the road but this weekend I shall make some pictures.
Keep up the good fight Kick!
I have been scandalous absent here, my apologies....
Buts as said before, my wife had al list of things to be completed in our holiday. Well, I'm on schedule!
One of the things that had to be made was a new sandpit for our ferrets. The old one was made of scrapwood and was removed when it almost fell apart. So now I have made one of meranti which is better and longer lasting.
So no pics of the Red Widow but some pics of the sandpit...
