Hahaha, nice.
Luckily I sold a guitar yesterday, so I might be able to get another kit to keep me occupied while this one dries out:-)

I couldn't help myself...
Looks cool.
Niiiiice!
lovin the headstock and the reshaped pickguard
This is a really fantastic make-over of an ST-1 and I'm keen to see it hit the finish line.
To me the look is sorta vaguely Rickenbackerish?
Q: Have chooks & aviaries had any influence on the "birdhead" stock? (which I love BTW)
Thanks @ DrNomis, Tony, Maxy
There was no conscious effort or influence that gave it that "birdlike" appearance Maxy, but the similarities weren't lost on me, even when doing the "Bladecatcher" headstock it kind of reminded me of a vulture head.
As you can see in the pic it's pretty much exactly the same as the last one.
Looking truly amazing Bargey. The angles of the body are great and the headstock matches perfectly. The flame maple veneer is going to look spectacuar once a bit of stain soaks in to it! Amazing job.
cheers,
Gav.
its an awesome beast Bargey
the build looks very cool with the mock build Barge, hopefully you can get another stain coat on soon, the wait must be killing you !
Myself and 4D mate Wayne cut a new shape yesterday with the ST-1M body and got a coat of primer on, its fairly different to your shape, what you reckon ? Plan is metallic blue paint on this with maybe a white southern cross painted on it.
We're probably going to change the 4D logo to this shape as well to keep it original
